A well structured and organized workshop! It was challenging at first but you just have to keep going. The project was a fun way to practice what I learned. After completing the first project, I'm excited to learn more about what else I can do with code.
This course was incredibly fun and I had an absolut blast! As a complete beginner, I was systematically introduced to the world of coding and Matt makes it easy to enjoy the new topics. The division into smaller sub-chapters and the posibility to organise my studytime by myself helped me a lot!

I had some experience beforehand, but this workshop really helped sharpen my skills. I would totally recommend this and I would do it again. It's a really affordable way of developing your skills and also having fun with it, I learned a lot about coding but also about preparation when I do receive a job. SheCodes flipped my preconceptions of coding on their head! As someone completely new to coding, the workshop taught me to appreciate the fun, creative, and technical aspects of coding all at once. SheCodes made it so easy for me to learn the basics of coding! It was a lot of fun and so well explained, for everyone to understand and to implement new learnings immediately. The 3 weeks went by so fast and I am super happy that I signed up in first place! I was able to get a pretty clear understanding of web developement in general, which was never anything to think, I could possibly learn or even have fun with doing.
Initially I signed up for the 3 week course feeling both excited and nervous. Now I'm looking into extending into the full 4 months as well as researching new career options. Coding can be fun and it feels so powerful. I can't wait to see where this journey takes me!

A great course for beginners. I got to explore a lot of the basics behind the 3 languages and experiment with various functionalities. Also, very interesting and interactive setup. I enjoyed particularly the exercises at the end of each lesson, that was a true added value.
So far, I have had a really fun time learning and getting a better understanding of coding and web development. I am confident with the skills that I have learned and I am happy to say that I am excited to continue my journey in the tech industry.

I found the course well-structured and the Homeworks very challenging. Matt is an excellent teacher: it's not easy to explain Java Script with a clear, simple, and fun approach. I think it really worth taking on new challenges and learn something interesting. Honestly, I'm surprised of having been able to build a little project in just a few weeks!

I loved these last 3 weeks. I had previous knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS before joining SheCodes, but this was the most hands on I have been with a class. It was exactly what I was looking for, and it was awesome! The video courses, challenges, and homework were so much fun to do - and I'm ending this first workshop with more confidence, and a better understanding of the basics of coding! SheCodes has taught me things I NEVER thought I could even look at and not freak out. These 3 weeks have been really fun, despite the challenges. With a wealth of online coding courses out there, it's hard to know which to trust and which will be most beneficial to a complete beginner! I was looking for a hands-on, fun and ultimately not too overwhelming approach to learning code- SheCodes ticked all the boxes! Hooray.

I love how the classes were divided, allowing each lesson to build on the fundamentals you are continually learning. I only knew enough coding "to be dangerous" before this course -- learning with purpose and direction was perfect to really make the concepts stick. I am so much more confident in my ability to create and troubleshoot!

I had the best time in this class. The way it's laid out, it's so easy to go back over the materials. It was actually fun seeing my creations come alive online and it was great for me being able to go at my own pace. Can't wait to see what comes next!
I never thought learning code would be so fun...not easy though! Matt explains everything but you really need to commit. If you have a full time job as I, you may need to plan ahead. But for real the structure, the content and the homework is to the point, not to mention the exceptional support in Slack app. Thumbs up! 😁

Completing the SheCodes classes have really helped me communicate my UI designs to our dev team. It was super fun to be able to actually see a project through 100% on my own from designing it to coding. Because the class only required a few hours a week, I was able to complete the classes while working a full-time job. I was having so much fun, I ended up putting more time than required anyways! 👏
