I have been looking for a long time a way to try to learn more and more about programming. I tried websites, books, youtube videos, anything I could get my hands on, but I couldn't find a more practical method with which I could not only learn more but also enjoy myself while learning. When I signed up for the Shecodes course, I enjoyed from the first video to the last. It has been an incredible experience, that I have enjoyed a lot and that has not only taught me more about HTML, CSS and JAVA but has left me wanting to continue learning on this site!
I enjoyed this course so much. It was a good experience, I learnt code from scratch: I mean I didn't know anything code related before this course. The duration(time) of each lesson is below 10 minutes and this helped me concentrate through out every lesson, and the challenges after most lessons made it easy for me to practice. Thank you so much Matt and the SheCodes team.
I learned a lot in this workshop. I had been wanting to understand how to make pages responsive and now that I know how, I don't feel like it's an impossible challenge. At least, now I know where to begin and what to look for.
I loved this course! It was the perfect introduction to coding and I felt like I learnt so much so quickly. The set up of the course made it so easy to learn, practice and then put everything together and Matt's lessons were all really clear and easy to understand. I felt fully supported the whole way through the course, it's so well thought through.
I have really enjoyed my 3 weeks of coding! It wasn't easy, but the workshops provide the right amount of challenge needed to learn and develop. I am looking forward to progressing through the different programmes!

This course was very informative and every aspect was broken down to make it easier for a beginner such as myself. I learned how to code and also the tools needed to complete these codes. I decided to go to SheCodes because I was looking for a career change. I needed something that would challenge me yet leave me wanting to learn more about it. I’m excited to share my recent coding project with you all! As a beginner in the world of coding, I set out to create a world clock that displays the current location, date, and time using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It was a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience. This project taught me the power of determination and problem-solving, as I tackled various technical hurdles along the way. I learned so much in this workshop in such a short time. I couldn't have done that in any other course. Hello! It's a shame this course has ended. It was difficult, sometimes it seemed that nothing would be learned, but in the end everything worked out. And it was very joyful. I learned a lot from my mistakes. The course is very intensive, a lot of varied information. During this time, Met became like family to me, like my best friend. Upon searching for a job after graduation, I saw the need to expand on my skill set and how that could potentially be helpful with me getting a job. Coding was one of the high income and high in demand skill set that I was interested in while on my hunt for things I could learn. I was skeptical about how I would breakthrough in the industry seeing that I didn't carry a Computer Science degree. Upon further research i found sites and online schools that offered to teach the skills. I then stumbled upon SheCodes, which was said to be dedicated to helping women break into the tech industry. I was fortunate enough to get access to their foundation that would teach women the basics of coding. So far my interest for coding grew due to their easy to follow lessons, that help you to understand what coding is, even when you do not know what you are doing. The self paced method they use, not only helps me plan my days well while integrating the lessons in it, it also allowed me to feel in control of my work and also pace my deadlines to my own understanding. I enjoy learning coding with SheCodes and I will forever be grateful to them for allowing me to learn and grow with them

I was really nervous about starting a course while on maternity leave and whether I'd be able to fit it in around looking after my 6month old but I've had the best time! This workshop was very helpful and I learnt a lot about job searching.
The workshop was very clear to follow and at some point it got super intense. However, if you watch the video properly you would be able to figure out a way. I learnt a lot about how to use API and also targeting each element of the code. Additionally for me I learnt that checking your spelling is very important cause I was stuck for 2 hours and found out that I ONLY spelled one word wrong! So if you don't want to make the same mistake install Code Spell Checker extension.
I HIGHLY recommend this workshop who wants to learn how to code, but in an easy and fun way! 10/10 also who is a complete beginner. I always thought coding was so difficult but Matt is a fantastic teacher and explains his lessons so clearly. Also if you get stuck, SheCodes team is ready to help you!
