This is my second workshop with SheCodes and ahh! I'm super proud of how much I've learned.
SheCodes Plus is a bit more challenging than Basics, it requires more time and lots of practice but it is definitely worth it. I learned so much and I am so much more confident in my coding skills and it's all thanks to our wonderful instructor Matt.
I loved this course, I learned a lot, it was not really easy but it was fun building new things
I was feeling a little scared of coding prior to joining SheCodes, and now that I've finished the Basics program, I am excited to say that I will be dedicating the next few months into learning more advance coding because even though it can be challenging at the times, the reward of finishing a project in which my personality is all over it, to the minimal CSS details, is pretty awesome. I just wanted to say thank you to the team for making my programming journey such an amazing experience and I am looking forward to my SheCodes Max classes ❤️!
I learned to much from the SheCodes Plus course, it was truly a fulfilling and exciting course. I started my SheCodes journey with little to no coding knowledge and now I can confidently say I am familiar with HTML, CSS and JavaScript I successfully created my very first vanilla weather app. I'm excited to learn more and to begin my journey as a front-end developer.
Wow! I learned so much working on this project. The step by step process was challenging at times, but not impossible. A steep learning curve worth the climb. Thank you to Matt and all the team. Looking forwards to going on to the next workshop.
The concepts are broken down into easily understandable and digestible parts. I never thought I'd actually have any interest in things like this. Yet here I am, eagerly coming back each day to learn something new.
Once I completed the SheCodes Basics workshop I instantly wanted to keep learning. This add-on course was so fun and I learned a lot more about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript during this project. I got to create a really fun page about something I really enjoy and I can't wait to continue to learn as I move through all the workshops. Thank you SheCodes!
Learning with SheCodes made me realize how much fun and useful it is to learn about programming. I loved every step of the way and struggle very little with this course because it was so approachable and easy to understand. Now I can say with confidence that I'm part of the community that understands HTML, CSS and JS, which feels pretty awesome.
This has been a very challenging but fun experience. This course definitely stretched me. It allowed me to get a feel for what a future in coding would be like. I know this was just the basics but it made me want to continue to learn through SheCodes and ultimately land my dream job working as a developer.
I recently finished the Responsive workshop at SheCodes, and it was an incredible experience. Matt was very knowledgeable, making the project so interesting. The workshop struck the perfect balance between theory and hands-on exercises, allowing us to apply what we learned immediately. I feel super happy with my decision to join SheCodes! I did the basics and will do the plus courses, but I don't think I am going to stop there. It was incredibly empowering to see the learnings of each lesson transform into a creation of my own. I especially had a lot of fun doing the final project!
I started with just doing the basic course but am considering doing the max course. I enjoyed the system of how we learn and like how it can be done on my own time and was totally up to me. Can't wait to see what I learn moving forward!
This SheCodes workshop has been a great experience. I will definitely use what I learned on coding in the future. Matt was excellent in every video, explanations were clear and concise. The project was really fun to work as well.

I would high recommend SheCodes self-paced workshops to every woman, especially mothers, who want to learn to code. YOU CAN DO THIS! I started with ZERO EXPERIENCE and a few months later, I built my first, responsive website. The videos are challenging but easy-to-follow. I believe the skills I learned will help me to be a competitive hire in the current programming industry. Upon starting this workshop, I quickly realised React has a steep learning curve. However, Matt made the topic approachable and less intimidating through clear explanations and informative demonstrations. This workshop has been a great learning experience that has left me feeling much more confident in furthering my knowledge of React. The project was an excellent means of putting what was taught throughout the workshop into practice. It is also a great follow-on from the SheCodes Plus workshop, highlighting the difference between Vanilla JS and React.

Javascript has always been the programing language that made me doubt my becoming a frontend Developer ,i learnt Javascript through this workshop and i was able to implement it in developing a project . I wouldn't say i knew it all through this workshop but i would say it was more than an eye opening.And i'm always open to continous learning and knowledge.Thank you SheCode.
I was always curious about how computer engineers build websites and people who are in stem create codes for robots and I wanted to see if I'd be able to take classes in order to learn them as I have adhd and I cannot focus on something unless I really love it. I also didn't have the time and money to go to uni for a degree in information technology as I'm already attending to finish up my degree in Business. I found the interface amazing and the courses are bite sized enough for you to understand key concepts quickly all you have to do in practice and create your own projects in the mean time. the best way I learned through out this course was opening up my VS codes file and typing out what was happening in the courses and also testing to see if I understood what I learned. I think most people are scared to start coding because they think it's super hard but it's actually quite fun IMO if you get the hang of coding formulas and the only major thing is debugging but that's really it! I think everyone who can get a certificate should try SheCodes out and if they need one for their job or just for fun it's deff worth a try. I can't wait to keep on with my studies towards becoming a front end web developer!
Shecodes is a great programme for women who wants to start learning code. The classes are easy to understand as the instructor will take you to through each and every step to help you learn code and explains well.

I am Lindokuhle Yende from South Africa. I recently had a new found interest in coding. I am not really a beginner since I have some background in Python but I was clueless about Web development. I found it very nice to learn JavaScript since it has some methods which are similar to those used in Python. I enjoyed creating my own website since it combines my knowledge in coding and my interest in Astronomy, which made me be able to express myself fully. This project made me realize that there is so much diversity in coding and you can branch into any field with your skills. I enjoyed every moment of this SheCodes workshop.
SheCodes plus is a much more advanced course in comparison to SheCodes Basics. Although it was challenging at times, I still highly recommend it. It has definitely helped me learn the foundations of web development!
Thank you very much for this opportunity to learn more about a responsive web site techniques. It gave me a chance to create such a beautiful web application about my hometown, that i miss a lot! I always thought coding was rocket science, and even though I needed it so much to improve my resumé, I was reluctant to learn it because I was sure it would be so hard that I would fail. But look at me now😅 I just did my real coding challenge and it was successful! The progress of the lessons was so smooth it never made me bored, afraid, or confused. I'm a "Shecodes Foundation" student, and I want the whole team to know that it is such a valuable opportunity for which I'm extremely grateful.

After the React workshop, the Adds-on is definitely a must. You become more aware of everything you still have to learn about react but it gives you a necessary extra boost of confidence. The more you practice the better, specially if there are people guiding you and supporting you. Matt is a great teacher with a great team. I highly recommend to follow the full SheCodes program with every Adds-on if you are taking becoming a front-end seriously. I really loved and immersed myself a lot more in the course. It was more challenging than SheCodes Basics but also a lot more fun!! Matt really guides you through the making of the entire project but you're also given enough freedom to make it your own and play around with the code, if you choose to. Learning how to implement API was one of the most challenging but rewarding parts of this course. Learning about GitHub was also very useful. I recommend this course to anyone who wants to get started on programming.

SheCodes is an excellent online platform for acquiring coding skills. I successfully completed the SheCodes Basic program in less than two weeks. The course material is presented in easily digestible segments, making it conducive to learning and retention. I found myself able to complete the initial project with ease. What I particularly appreciate is the fact that I'll have access to the workshop content indefinitely for future reference.

From this course, I learned the basics of React and hope to use them in the future. I learned how to create components and highly appreciated the convenience of using them. Hi I am one of the participants of SheCodes I applied and was answered a week later really I have now finished one workshop of sheCodes basics really I have learnt a lot from them now I am able to design a webpage in the way I want. Really it's amazing I like it, before I knew only little about html I didn't know about CSS and java script and now I can try and do more.
