This basic intro to coding was so worth the time and money. I had an absolute blast while doing this three-week course, and I learned a lot. I hope to take what I have learned and create some weird and wacky websites you can interact with online. Catch ya later!

The SheCodes Plus Add-On helped me to not only hone in on the skills learned in SheCodes Plus but it also taught so many more skills! The skills I learned in the Add-On helped me to become a far better coder than I thought I could be in such a short period of time!
I loved this! Thanks for everything, this was a great lil intro to get into coding. I WISH I HAD TIME TO SIGN UP FOR THE BIG WORKSHOP. I really wish I could just roll straight into the MAX workshop. But now I've started school and this is going to be a huge uphill battle for me to go from band director and musician to IT. Yikes! I will keep this in mind for later. It is soooo tempting, to keep the party going, but I will end up failing both sides. But again, I enjoyed this so much the FOMO IS REAL!!! I do recommend the workshops, even just the 3 week one to learn a few basics to get you going.
I enjoyed how well-balanced the course is when it comes to learning the skill of coding while putting in the work. You would expect that just because you're learning on your own that the course would be easy, but I was wrong. Matt truly pushes you out of your comfort zone to apply the skills you acquire within each lesson. I would recommend this course 100%

It was very helpful to build the project alongside the videos. Then it was fun to go back at the end and make any tweaks to the project to really make it your own. I learned so much from working on this project!
I must admit that this was the most difficult and intense course offered by SheCodes, and it took me a while to get into the React mindset. I am not very satisfied with the outcome, but I think this may be the first step for further future learning.
I highly recommend this React workshop. Matt teaches everything you need to know to build your first React app and gives you all the basic concepts to continue this learning journey on your own.
I wanted to get into Web Development, but found that free courses and YouTube tutorials didn't have enough structure to be conducive to learning. SheCodes was the only course I found that combined HTML, CSS, and Javascript all in one place, and this was essential for me. I've been so inspired to keep learning to code by means of SheCodes. During these workshops, my confidence has grown so much. He is meticulous, and there are many of tools at your disposal to help you succeed. There are numerous skills I have learnt throughout my university studies, but this course is unquestionably the reason I will feel confident in advancing in my job. This was a clear guide on how to start a developer career, it answered all the millions of questions I had already asked myself before even finishing the previous workshops. I work at a tech company; and every day I work with technology which is based on code. This is a great way of getting a glimpse of what the magic is around coding. At this point I am curious to learn more about coding and SheCodes offers a fun and easy way to learn the world of code!
Everything was easy to understand. Finishing a task and seeing my hard work on a live website was very fulfilling. I am very eager to learn more about the ins and outs of HTML and CSS and apply what I learn in creating more aesthetically appealing but great user-experience websites.
This is probably the best thing I have ever done for myself. Learning these skills has been one of the most rewarding experiences. I love that I am challenging myself. I am really grateful to SheCodes for creating such an opportunity for women to learn to code, a goal that I thought would be unattainable has become attainable. I have thoroughly enjoyed every lesson and task that we have done, I am always showing my loved ones my projects and the new skills that have learnt. Furthermore, coding has become my escape, whenever I am stressed by my academics and other things happening around me coding has helped in relieving my stress and anxiety. I have been thinking about learning how to code for a while. I had done the free workshop some time ago and wanted to explore more, so I signed up for Basic. After 3 weeks I am hooked!
The videos were a great help, especially when i was stuck i knew i can always refer back to them for some light. Matt is a great teacher. He made everything very understandable and enjoyable. I had so much fun learning to code and create things from scratch.
I'm really happy to learn React and apply it in my previous weather app, making the project more complete. It also helped me to understand the code and communicate fluently with my colleagues.
