Matt makes learning to code so much easier with his 'back to basics' explanation. I was a complete beginner to coding when starting this course. I have now just created my first landing page using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This is something I wouldnt have thought would be possible 2 weeks ago!

I've enjoyed SheCodes' Responsive module the most so far in my coding journey. I really enjoyed the portfolio project and really pushed myself to go beyond the tutorial / try new things with styling and design. I'm excited to keep learning!

I have enjoyed every second of the SheCodes workshop! The video tutorials are so great, Matt does an excellent job of breaking everything down into easy understandable sections that make following along and learning how to code a piece of cake. I was surprised that the class was over so fast, I was having so much fun! Looking forward to taking more workshops in the future.

Before SheCodes I used several free online websites to learn HTML, CSS and javascript, and I have to say I am very impressed with SheCodes. Matt has a very clear way of teaching and also stimulates his students to search online for solutions to their coding problems, which is a very realistic way to enter the programming world and learn how to be independent while coding. With SheCodes Basics, I have discovered a new set of useful tools (e.g. info for CSS color palettes and gradients) that I had never encountered on free online websites. I am looking forward to the next workshops.

I've tried learning how to code in past however, I couldn't complete as I felt it was too long and complicated. But SheCodes on the other hand was totally opposite. Clearly how I've reached this far. The course is not complicated and is structured in such a way that you are able to learn something new in every lesson. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to get into coding but is afraid as they feel they don't know anything about coding.

This was the hardest 6 weeks so far yet I'm glad I was able to learn this. This course is good to get to know the base of React and get familiar with it.

I have never worked with React before. This is why I learned a lot during this module. It was great fun to see how much easier it was to build the weather app by using react instead of plain html, css and javascript.
I had a great time learning to code. Bite-sized tutorials and clear explanations made everything look so easy and fun. I’m looking forward to learning much more. Highly recommended!

Some people discover their dream when they are 5 years, others at 38 years. I am among the latter. I set out to study how to code but every single opportunity I came across was either limited to people who had an undergraduate degree in IT or women below 35 years. And they all required paying and getting enrolled in school for up to 3 years. It broke my heart but I never gave up trying to find that once in a life time opportunity to live my dream. And then one day, I typed "free training for women" into google search and "SheCodes Foundation" popped onto the screen. My life has been impacted forever. I started out nervous, that I would not be able to cope with the lessons.....I was pleasantly suprised! Matt set out the lessons in baby-steps that were easy to follow and understand.(Thanx Matt, You truly are a blessing!) I look forward to learning more and becoming a world class coder.
Before, I thought coding would just be hard and confusing. But the SheCodes Basic Workshop made me realize how fun coding actually is. Even when there were times that it was frustrating, it all goes away when the code finally works after. I'm forever grateful to the SheCodes foundation for giving me this opportunity to learn coding and have fun in the process 🙇🏻♀️.
I never expected to have so much fun in coding, but Matt's bite-size tutorials and assignments were really enjoyable. I actually looked forward to them and got excited when I understood different concepts. I highly recommend these workshops. I'm looking forward to learning more in SheCodes Plus.

SheCodes Plus Add-On was such a great learning experience, I feel like I am really starting to get the hang of javascript! The final project was a "World Clock" and it was so fun to design! 11/10 would recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn to code.
I enjoyed learning more advanced react with the SheCodes React add-on. I now feel more familiar with React after completing the project for the add-on.
I enjoyed the class and learned a lot. I was introduced to HTML and CSS and gained experience building web pages throughout this course.
I loved learning about using Git and the API's it was a bit challenging but having patience and hard work I was able to finish and I loved working on the weather app it taught me a lot.
I have always been apprehensive to learn how to code. After taking the Basics Workshop I feel a lot more equipped to keep learning! The challenges after each lesson are a great way for me to practice my skills, and I look forward to doing the Plus workshop next :)

I believe this is a tool for a very independent learner. I would say this could serve as a tool to prove to yourself if you have what it take to learn to code. Definitely good to try out before you invest more money. All in all it was an okay tool to try out! Goood Luck Learners!.
This SheCodes course is probably the best decision I have made in life so far. I am 25 with no previous experience in coding, but I've always had an interest. I stumbled upon SheCodes and thank god I did. The lessons are so easy to follow and make learning coding a fun and enjoyable experience. I have challenged myself in ways I didn't know possible and have made a website that I am really proud of.

I have honestly never been more excited to display my creative side through coding. The workshop has truly taught me the fundamentals of coding and I can not wait to explore the skills I have learned. I believe that the workshop provided the stepping stones for my coding career and I am more than prepared to learn the next fundamentals for a career in tech.
Growing up, I was always curious about how things were made and what made them run. When I discovered the internet, i wanted to know how it operate, i started learning how to operate computer but what will actually give me what i wanted to learn were very expensive. so i couldn't afford the classes. Again, Coding was seen as men's job in my community which everyone discouraged me but the zeal was still there. Years later, I stumble upon the SheCodes Workshop which offered me a chance to go back to my passion. This programm has given me skills such as a sense of community and focusing on what i love to do. And guess what? the workshop was offered to me for free. It was actually challenging with limited resources to buy date, however, my goal to continue learning and to complete the Workshop successfully kept me moving. SheCodes program has given me the confidence to continue learning. To every woman interested in pursuing a career in Coding, i urge them to take a leap, discover their potentials, and give their best. Its okay to fail, but its okay to stay down. I also advice anyone currently in the program to trust the process, stay motivated, and work with Matt and his team. It is a continues learning experience, and every day provides an opportunity to grow and discover new ways to make systems work better. I'm glade i mate Matt and his team. You guys are awesome. This level was a little bit hard, I had a hard time understanding some concepts at the beginning but the explanations are very helpful. I'm super excited to keep learning more things to improve my projects.
This course was very challenging at times, but it is really nice to see what I was able to put together after all of the hours spent learning and building the final project. I do think it helped to increase my understanding of Javascript, and get more comfortable with coding. There were some lessons I felt went a little too fast for beginners, but I was still able to put together a great project for my portfolio and lean on members in the Slack channels so overall I am happy with this workshop!
Loved getting to use new html elements and styling strategies. Great add-on to things already learned.
I can't believe I have just created my own website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the past three weeks. I chose SheCodes because I work full-time and require flexible learning options. With SheCodes, I have been able to adjust my study time according to my schedule. Whenever I encountered challenges, I always had a support system through Slack, where I received assistance and learned how to address coding issues. The SheCodes staff are incredibly kind and attentive, genuinely listening to any concerns I had. I am thrilled to be a part of the SheCodes community and eagerly look forward to furthering my learning with SheCodes!

During this eight-weeks long workshop, my enthusiasm in coding is getting deeper along with the weekly challenges. I coded at my work, in my bed and keep coding in mind while I was riding my bike to my house 🤣. My favorite part of this workshop is operating functions in js_I could not apply multiple function in the previous workshop but now I can see how far it can get.This workshop's brought a lot of fun, meanwhile I could feel the growth happening inside me. I has been sharing my experiences of learning with SheCodes to my friends and has encourage them to try coding (cause it is awesome!).

Matt is able to incorporate step by step learnings and follow it up with application that helps the learner understand concepts right after.
