Designing and coding your own weather app from scratch was super educational, and made me feel like a capable coder more quickly than I thought possible. The second course was even more fun than the first. Seeing how everything comes together is fascinating. I loved programming my weather app, then changing it all over again and improving it on the way.

The program is very interactive and it has a lot of challenges and exercises that help you practise everything you learn. It is an intensive program, so expect putting some time into it. It is great to learn fast. I loved it!
Learning the basics of coding was incredibly easy with SheCodes! I love how the courses are structured with challenges to do every step along the way and the deadlines also help to keep myself motivated (I have ADHD so this is actually really important for people like me). I train customer service reps in the financial sector and I feel like this method of learning should be applied everywhere as it's incredibly effective. I'm excited for SheCodes Plus! 😁

I've started my journey with SheCodes workshops in February 2021. I loved every minute of the whole year with all the workshops. It's sad or more like bittersweet to finish my last workshop. I love coding but I got too overwhelmed trying to learn elsewhere. I have been able to learn on this platform with ease and I am having fun!
I really love SheCodes flexibility. I had a really busy end of the year and couldn't keep up with SheCodes weekly deadline, thankfully I didn't need to start the responsive course right after finishing the plus. Instead I managed to take my time to get my work and school matters done and came back to finish the responsive course, I was so free I finished a 5 week course in 2 weeks. Now I will take some very deserved vacation and then finish the react course!
A really challenging but fun and rewarding course. I learnt and achieved more than I ever felt possible and am really proud of what I produced! I loved being able to do the course in my own time and being able to take breaks when I needed a week off. The challenges and homework requirements kept me on track and made sure I was actually learning and staying focused. Highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning react 😊
Absolutely loved the course, Matt explains everything in the way that an absolute beginner like me actually understands EVERYTHING! I loved the SheCodes Basics Workshop. I didn't have any coding experience and I didn't know anything about what is taught in SheCodes. During the workshop, I was always thinking that it was going to be in the next lesson that I wouldn't understand the content, but that never happened! The short videos with Matt´s clear and straightforward explanations guide you step by step and cement knowledge, one on top of the other. From the beginning I had no doubts that I was really learning and I´ve completed the challenges and projects with confidence in what I was doing. And to get to know some coding and learning tools used by professionals is really valuable. If you, like me, have realized that programming skills can make your projects come true, SheCodes Basics is a wonderful and very useful way to get started. On the other hand, if you still need to understand if programming can help you with something, it will certainly be enlightening. Congratulations to the SheCodes team for their amazing work!

I loved the steady progression of SheCodes Plus! Matt and his team did a really amazing job of breaking everything down into manageable pieces. I chose SheCodes because I wanted something that was flexible enough to allow me to learn around my work schedule, but also structured enough to keep me on track. I love that SheCodes started at the extreme basics, and taught just enough in each lesson to be easy to follow while still providing a thorough knowledge base in coding. I was extremely busy with the holidays during the past three weeks and was still able to complete the workshop and feel like I know what I am doing. I'm looking forward to the next level!

Wow, I have to admit it was tough! But really, really stimulating. It feels so rewarding seeing a real weather app, with real data, and fully functional, built with my own hands! I learned so much during this course, I started to get a bit more used to Javascript and I was even able to write stuff on my own in the final project, which I couldn't imagine I would be able to do. I also loved learning how Git works! There's so much stuff I need to learn better, especially from the first weeks; but I think what I learned until now is already so much, so I have to thank Matt for all of this!
I'm so glad I took the next step with SheCodes Plus. I learned an incredible amount in such a short amount of time, yet I was never overwhelmed. I love that every week is self-paced, so I could focus on coding around my other commitments, and I'm so grateful for the helpers on Slack who got me out of a few binds. On to SheCodes Responsive! 😍

I started this workshop knowing NOTHING about coding, and finished it feeling pretty confident in the basics! I love how the course is formatted in small sections that build upon each other, and the concepts are very well explained.
The SheCodes Basics workshop is great. I started with very little coding background (as in a did some basic html 15 years ago in high school), and I was able to understand the content and lessons very easily. I enjoyed the process, and loved that the courses are relatively self-paced so I could fit them around my full-time work schedule. I'm excited to start the next workshop!
When I started this workshop 3 weeks ago, I had no idea what I was doing as I forgot the coding basics since the last time I did was around 10 years ago, I loved it <3
I would highly recommend this course for beginners. It combines everything you need to know to start coding as well as tips on how to configure your editor. Also, if I studied coding some years ago, I have learnt so much during these past 3 weeks. I really love the fact that for every lesson there is a challenge so we can practice what we just learned.
This is my second course with SheCodes. I love the structure of this course - first you have the opportunity to learn from Matt through clear and engaging videos, and then you get plenty of practice through challenges and homework which test and grow your knowledge further. I learnt HTML and CSS in the early 2000s and tried my hand at being a front-end developer. However, I felt like an imposter and lost my love for it because I couldn't get my head around JavaScript. After discovering SheCodes, I admittedly took a few months to finally take the plunge to enrol but I am extremely happy that I did! The way Matt breaks down each concept makes it incredibly easy to understand and apply. I truly wish SheCodes existed at the start of my career — my life would be very different today if it did. It's never too late though and I'm excited to start the next workshop!
Loved learning to integrate API data with JS and having one project to which we added more and more functionality as we progressed one step at a time. Coding made simple.

I loved building my own weather app, from designing it to making it fully functional. During this course I learned so much and was very happy to put it right in practice and see how with each lesson my project was growing. I really like Matt's style of teaching and explaining.
