Loved this class! A great introduction to coding.

I love the bite size lessons where we have to apply the knowledge we just leant right after each lesson to consolidate our understanding. Would recommend it to anyone who would like to see if coding is right for them.

I started this workshop with high hopes and I was definitely not disappointed with SheCodes.I loved how Matt explained everything step by step and besides, it's not all practice but also tips that can help you to program better, I would definitely think about getting the next level of workshop.

Matt has an incredibly skilled way of breaking things down into bite sized pieces and making coding easy. I love that he doesn't just focus on teaching the coding concepts, but also on how to be resourceful if you do run into trouble (ie. even the most experienced coders Google things! You do not need to memorize every language). He doesn't edit his typos out of the videos-- which is also comforting, because it demonstrates that no matter how good the coder is, mistakes happen and that's ok. I signed up for the full package, and I'm very much looking forward to continuing on! :)

It is an awesome opportunity, for the ones who would love to learn how to code. so far, I really enjoyed studying with shecodes.

I just fell in love. I've been so curious as to what goes on on the backstage of the internet and with SheCodes Basics I got a glimpse of how it all is glued together. It is just fascinating, exciting and fun! I am definitely going to continue with this, and if I find a legitimate excuse to spend more money on the courses (my job is nowhere near related to coding) I think I'll end up taking all of them! I am also really impressed by smooth way these guys ease us newbies into complex coding languages that can easily overwhelm any rookie if not for Matt's calm and easy teaching methods with a good dose of don't-panick-vibe. 👏 Well done SheCodes!

Love it! I wanted to learn more about coding to be able to speak the "developer's language" better when working with them. Even though I already had a solid foundation in HTML and CSS, it was great to have a quick refresher (and to learn some new stuff!), and to learn the basics of JavaScript as well.

I first learned about SheCodes through an online ad and joined the free coding class and was highly interested. So I decided to enroll in the SheCodes Basics course. I had zero experience with coding and the programming languages and thought that coding would be inaccessible. But I learned the basics in a fun and didactic way. I especially loved the way how each lesson was divided into a basic information video and the challenge where I had to apply the basics directly. That helped me to understand each new concept before moving on to the next. I can't wait to study more with SheCodes!

It's official - I've completed every SheCodes course offered! I have loved each program from the first day to the last. I've got my resume updated with my new certifications, a new portfolio website ready to show off to future employees, and EXCITEMENT about my new career path. Thank you, SheCodes. This is just what I was looking for.

I have loved my experience with SheCodes! I began the SheCodes Basic course with no previous coding experience whatsoever, and I am completing the course completely amazed at how much I have learned. Every lesson builds upon each other, which allows you to grow with each challenge you complete. Matt's an incredible teacher, and SheCodes made me feel like I was set up for success!

I absolutely loved doing SheCodes Plus. It's definitely challenging, but I have been enjoying it and love the feeling of accomplishment when I fix something or figure it out on my own. I cannot wait to start SheCodes React and continue on my coding journey :) The support on Slack is unbelievable and super helpful, I would be lost without them. So thank you for the SheCodes team!

I’m happy to share that I have finished my Weather App project for SheCodes Plus. Or it would be more appropriate to say ‘decided to stop with it for the moment’ xD Since the way I’ve been seeing it - it’s pretty more than I was expected to submit as homework. I tried my best to make it already responsive, though this topic will follow in next course only. And it’s firm 80% of what I wanted it to be, inclusive of: - themes and layers are changing based on weather conditions - clouds animation depends on wind speed - fonts react to day / night - the cities options are populated from Google API - basic settings of theme and units are available, along with GPS position saved due to localStorage - there are some pretty Bootstrap elements - I’ve picked up some funny pixel-style visuals for loaders and found exactly the same old-school games font I was looking for - and again… it’s already pretty responsive to different viewports. That was a challenge, especially the responsive part. And another opportunity to double confirm that knowing your target it’s already half way. Googling a right question it’s already half an answer. I haven’t figured out yet why there are issues with GPS on iPhones and some Bootstrap elements on certain iphones only, so let’s head to SheCodes Responsive and check whether there are the answers I need. (My precious) That little Ghibli tribute was done from the bottom of my heart. Thanks a lot to Matthieu Delac Aussaguel and SheCodes Team for providing the coding skeleton knowledge (and setting courses with deadlines). And big thanks to my main testers. My husband, in whose eyes I saw proud instead of irritation for me staring into monitor for hours. And my beloved friend and former colleague from Moscow - country is definitely not the limit.

I can't recommend SheCodes enough. I loved all of the workshops. I had the best time learning how to code with SheCodes. Matt is a great instructor!

Would do it again! I loved this course. But - in order to fully grasp all concepts at hand - you really need to invest time.

I have always loved coding since I found out about it at school. This workshop has given me the opportunity to expand my limited knowledge of coding in much more detail. Matt's clear and precise explanation has improved my understanding.

This was a first time after a while that I really enjoyed learning something and I think that says a lot about how great this coding course is. Loved how everything is structured and how Matt explains things. Thanks and can't wait to learn more complex things.

I loved the flexibility of this course. Being able to set my own schedule and work at my own pace was one of the reasons I wanted to get into coding in the first place. Mixing art & technical skills was another. So far, I'm absolutely loving what this new career path is giving me--freedom to work wherever, whenever I want, and purpose/drive that is extremely fulfilling for my brain. I'm extremely happy/proud of what I've accomplished so far; Matt's videos are very easy to follow/learn from, and I can't wait to see what's next!

I have always been curious on how the language of coding works and always felt as if there just isn't "enough time" to deep dive into it but I'm very grateful and proud that I finally chose to make this investment in myself and as many have stated... this is addicting 🙋🏻‍♀️! I love the support system that you obtain and also the fact that you have lifetime access to these resources is amazing. I'm not onto phase 2 of this coding journey and couldn't be more excited!

I loved this course. As someone who never thought she would get into coding, this course was not only instructive and helpful, but fun. It has opened a curiosity in me and I hope to move on to the next workshops as well.

I took SheCodes so I can get an idea of what my first CS class in college would look like (also because I am a sucker for anything that battles the gender gap disparity) and to also gain some background knowledge. I loved the course and would like to continue the rest! This is a course that I would recommend to a friend and the lessons you learn only help you build and problem solve! 100% will be seeing me continue my coding journey!!!❤️

Another awesome SheCodes coding workshop completed! The Responsive workshop was so much fun and I loved learning about custom CSS and Bootstrap techniques! If you have an interest in front-end web development or design, SheCodes workshops are a must!

The pace, instruction and tools SheCodes provided to learn coding was perfect for my learning style. I would highly recommend to anyone who likes to work at their own pace and is a visual or auditory learner. I loved that there were challenges to check my progress and a community to reach out to when I needed it. If you're looking for an introductory coding course, look no further!

Love this class! The way Matt explains it is so easy to understand and follow. I enjoyed actively practicing my new skills after each video, and very much enjoyed putting together my final project.

I LOVED learning the basics of coding in this workshop! I was able to manage the lessons, homework, and project around my full time job in IT, and I feel like I'm starting to learn a new language! If you're on the fence about signing up - DO IT! You won't regret learning something new :)

To be honest this workshop didn't go well with my personal life. The old version of me would run away and cry but not me now! I loved every step of creating this app. I'm a creative person but I was forgetting about this trait of mine lately. But making this app, realizing how many ideas I have! I wanted to implement them all! It's so amazing knowing there are endless possibilities of how to style the page or create interesting functions. I can't wait to start the third one of my workshops! I loved developing and working on different challenges over the three weeks. The challenges raised the bar of difficulty slowly, and it did not seem overwhelming at all. As a developer with a little experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, this workshop had a great curriculum covering basic and important topics over three weeks. Thanks to everyone at SheCodes for designing and creating this workshop that is easily accessible.

I really love this workshop as it widened my views towards IT. Super grateful for the opportunity that I grabbed by joining this workshop. I thoroughly enjoyed the SheCodes workshop! The videos were very easy to follow and the mini-challenges helped to solidify my learning. I also loved the support system on Slack as it made me feel more confident when dealing with particularly challenging aspects of the tasks.

After completing SheCodes Basic course I wanted to keep learning and I loved it! SheCodes Basic gets deeper and more challenging, which is great. There is always something you can improve in your code as you're learning and learning more. What I also liked about SheCodes is that you have great resources and the Slack community. I think that there is always a time where you can feel stuck but with Slack, it makes it easier :)

I am glad I took the next step from basics... I have literally fallen in love with coding! Very easy to follow, highly recommend for busy folks like myself.

I loved doing the workshops! I never thought that I could code a Weather App and Dictionary App. It made me realize that anyone is able to code. This is a experience that will hopefully help me a lot in my future.

WOW, this was challenging, but I made it!! 👩‍💻 Matt is a great teacher, yet I often wanted to give up because I couldn't figure it out myself, but thankfully the support team on slack was always there for us. Learning React was hard but very fun. I definitely fell in love with it, and shecodes has made my learning so fun. I'm actually able to retain the information and put it to use. This has been a wonderful journey.

Loved the program. The challenges were very helpful to keep me practicing what I was learning. It is great to see how you evolved so much already with the Week 1 homework. You won't even notice you're getting so good! :) I hope I can sign up for the next workshop soon.

What an adventure it has been learning from SheCodes! I could not believe how many skills I learned in a rather short period of time. Each assignment creates a space to practice what we learned in the videos. I loved how I was able to ask questions and connect with classmates in a separate service. It was great to have some extra support or be able to ask a question if I was feeling confused. With having many people, from many countries to talk and learn from, there was always someone or something that helped me understand our lessons deeper. I am grateful that each lesson is a video, which can be rewatched and paused as well as the Caption option since I have impaired hearing. I highly recommend these workshops to anyone who is interested in coding and wants to explore this digital side of creativity.

Absolutely loved SheCodes Basics! Can't wait for the other courses - Matt made learning these concepts very easy and straight forward and shared great sources along the way. Also LOVE the SheCodes Radio! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an intro course that is informative without being overwhelming!

I never thought I'd be able to understand front end code, let alone write it. Yet, here we are three weeks after taking the SheCodes plunge and I've just submitted my first project! The best thing about it? I looked forward to working on the project and the mini challenges every day. Matt teaches at the perfect pace and I love that you can recap on lessons if you want a refresh. 😊 I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus now and build on the knowledge - very excited to see where this goes! 🙌

Loved this course. It was certainly challenging (more so than the previous workshops) I so appreciated Matt's humbleness though and how he's still perfecting the skill of making webpages responsive. He's an incredible instructor, and the help received on Slack was priceless. I gained a lot of confidence in my coding skills during the workshop and look forward to coding more, in SheCodes continues to impress me as an organization. I love everything they are about, especially their focus to offer training for free in developing countries. So cool! Can't wait for React!

I have loved this workshop. I had never done any programming before and found it really easy to follow. Matt makes everything seem really easy and the workshop is very well organized, making it really easy to follow. What's more, you get help through the slack chat almost immediately if you have any doubt.

At first, I wasn’t sure that an online course would be good idea to learn coding, I thought coding would be strongly hard but Matt explain all steps in the easiest way, I'm so happy that I decided to participate in this course and recommend to all who loves learning coding:)

Great 3 week short course, I've learn't so much, and I'm very happy with what I have achieved. Matt is great explaining and I love that I can replay the videos and do the tasks at my own pace. Also, I enjoyed the actual explaining tips on how to view and understand how its build in order to fix bugs. Now it's time to keep on practising :) Thank you!

I LOVED this workshop, I learned so much in a short space of time and did so to prepare myself for my masters degree. As a complete beginner I was daunted by the computers aspect of my degree but now feel super confident going into it as I learned how fun and interesting it can be!

I'm only at the beginning, but I already feel so blessed and honored to be a student here. I honestly wasn't expecting to be this satisfied before starting the course but quickly fell in love with the perfection of everything! I was really nervous at the beginning because I've never coded and honestly it has always sounded like something intimidating. After finishing my first couple of lessons I realized that coding is basically like math: you have a set of formulas that you need to get X result. SheCodes made coding very captivating and not intimidating at all, so these last three weeks have been very eye-opening and now I would love to continue to build upon the knowledge I gained. Also I 100% will encourage other women I know on how coding is more accessible than how it's advertised.

Starting this workshop I was not completely new to coding, but after participating in this lovely course, I have now gained enough knowledge to build a basic web page, using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I was really impressed by this course. I've always been a bit intimidated by coding, but SheCodes is awesome! Rather than just giving you a bunch of video lessons where you're trying to absorb a ton of new information with out really putting any of it to use, SheCodes provides a challenge with each lesson. I loved the accountability these challenges provided, plus putting my knowledge to the test helped to make sure I was really absorbing all the information.

When I signed up to SheCodes I had no idea what to expect. Good news - I LOVE IT! The course structure is very easy to follow and although there were some challenges I was able to use the tools provided to work through them. I was worried I would get bored or frustrated but the process is extremely satisfying (and addictive). I can't wait to start the next course!

I really enjoyed this course. I have been thinking about transitioning my career to something in tech and this course was really impactful. I loved being able to create my own webpage and learn the basics of Webdesign. From here I will continue to learn and have a really positive outlook on my future career change.

Wow! I absolutely loved this course. I have a background in Fashion Design, but I am looking to transition into UX/UI. I wanted to take this course because I do not have a background in coding. I will admit that I was scared before starting this course but I quickly felt empowered rather than scared!
