React has been the most challenging yet rewarding workshop yet!
She Codes Add-ons have been an extension and practice to my new learning. I am starting to see some of the building blocks finally taking shape.
I started with SheCodes Basics about 7 months ago, I wasn't too sure how my journey was going to be, coming from the fashion and sales industry. All I can say, am I glad that I embarked on this journey because I am now clear on the career path I want to take. I went from thinking that I couldn't grasp the concepts to being confident in my ability to build something from scratch. I have found myself enjoying the problem solving process and building my apps. I have no doubt that I will be back on here again sharing a career testimonial within 2024! Thanks Matt and team

I just completed the basic front-end course, and I have to say it was a nice experience. The content was well-structured and easy to follow, even for someone with minimal prior knowledge in web development. The instructors were knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining concepts in a simple and understandable way. The hands-on exercises and projects were especially helpful and fun, as they allowed me to apply what I learned in a practical context.
I never knew i could come this far in coding. All thanks to Matt and the entire SheCodes team. Going through Shecodes Responsive training was a thrilling experience which has made me more grounded in coding.
React is difficult to learn. I appreciate that this project used multiple components of React to build on learning from the last module.
I really enjoyed coding. I am proud of myself for taking the chance on myself to get it done. I have always been interested in it but was too scared to try. Matt & the team with SheCodes made this a breeze. The lessons are easy to understand and walks you through everything. I would definitely recommend it.

I went to tertiary to study BSc Computer Science and I finished my degree without understanding anything, everything was all about scramming and passing but since I started SheCodes everything is better and clear, I can proudly say I know how to code. Thank you Matt for the wonderful teachings.
This is definitely the best coding course I've been to. Everything was explained perfectly!
I recently completed the SheCodes online programming course, and my experience had both positive and negative aspects. The course is beginner-friendly and offers a supportive community, but I felt it lacked depth in content and was kind of limiting in its scope. It's a suitable starting point for complete beginners, but may require supplementary resources for a more comprehensive understanding.
I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to start a career in tech. SheCodes has taught me a lot about coding and I will definitely be joining more workshops.

The SheCodes Plus workshop really helped me to develop my coding skills even further! The use of JavaScript is way more intense in this one, but it shows how powerful and dynamic this language can be. As usual, it is also important to point out that it's always appreciated that Matt takes you step by step along the lessons, otherwise, those who are very new to coding (like myself) may lose their footing. But, even if that happened, a member of the team would always help me in Slack :) I learnt a great deal and had fun working towards my final project! I am so looking forward to start with the next workshops now so I can learn how to use React!

This workshop was definitely challenging but i learnt so much and i appreciate the art of coding even more. i am so proud of myself that i was able to code this weather app from scratch !
I had a lot of fun building this website and applying everything that I learnt into one project. It was quite challenging to learn all of the different frameworks but it was worth the time and effort to build the skills.
I started this workshop not knowing a single thing about coding and I can say with all honesty that it's taken me from a 1 to a 10. I will definitely be trying out another workshop to improve my skill set😊

I feel like I have gained a lot from the course, the lessons were quick and helpful and l always felt like l had support through slacker. I have a better grasp of what goes into building a website and found the course very interesting and insightful. I got to do the lessons at my own pace which was amazing and gave me the time to enjoy what I was learning.

I highly recommend SheCodes to women who are passionate about coding and are hoping to transition their careers into programming. Matt has the ability to simplify very complex concepts and make them very easy to comprehend. As a beginner, with no background knowledge in the field, Shecodes has equipped me with necessary tools to take up more space in this industry.

Although I found it difficult at first, the more I practiced to easier it got. I enjoyed this workshop very much.
So much new information squeezed into a single week, and a nice little project to practice it all.

Fantastic course, well paced with a plethora of information you can build on, its a practical learning course with a lot of examples and opportunities to build on understanding through independent studies. I feel much more confident about coding from this short course alone.
In summary, it was amazing!
When a cancer diagnosis turned my life upside down and I had to find my way back to life after treatment, this course was a glimmer of hope and helped me to believe in myself. The SheCodes Basics course was incredibly motivating and empowered me to start my coding journey. It made me realize that I want to make a career switch towards tech. I think the SheCodes Basic course is a wonderful option to get into coding, and you can tinker with your own projects with the new knowledge.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the Responsive Add-On course. I have learnt so many new techniques and had so much fun working on the project. I would highly recommend this course!

I've always heard that learning to programming is a little percent of courses and a huge percent of coding and practising. The best of SheCodes is that you can have boths.

I have really enjoyed creting this project. I had a few bumps in the road which meant I had to restart but the videos make it very easy to retrace your steps and I feel like I also learnt alot abotu the process through doing this. SheCodes is a great comprehensive entry-level course with excellent feedback options. It surpasses the usual monkey-see-monkey-do of most online courses and is well-worth the investment.
My SheCodes React Add-on workshop was an amazing experience. Building a fully functioning dictionary app in React using multiple APIs was the highlight. I now feel even more confident in my React and API skills.
Few months ago was hard to imagine that I could code in React. Now I have a portfolio with various projects that I could apply my knowledge. A life changing workshop. Thank you!

I started this course not knowing anything about coding. But I said that I would take a chance and learn a new skill. The first week was ok for me but I stumbled on the the second week and wanted to quit. But I'm so glad I stuck it out and finished the three week course. I have gain a new outlook on this skill and is eager to learn more. I will be signing up for the next course in so that I can continue to build on this new found skill the I have.
I would highly recommend this web development course, primarily because of the incredible facilitator, Matt. His knowledge, passion, and dedication to his students make him a standout educator. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from him, and I'm excited to apply the skills and knowledge I gained in my web development journey.

I've had so much fun learning to code that I enrolled in the full SheCodes Max program to keep growing my skills! SheCodes breaks everything down into simple steps so anyone can learn. The projects let you get hands-on and start coding right away, which for a hands-on learner like me has been invaluable. Building real projects from the very beginning has helped me retain and apply what I learn in each lesson. I'd highly recommend SheCodes to anyone interested in coding. This experience has been invaluable and I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity to learn with SheCodes. React has been the most challenging but I am really happy with the way everything is explained by Matt Delac and his team. It is a well-structured curriculum and it is made to accommodate anyone with no background in coding and busy schedules.
