Learning to build a highly interactive Weather app using React has been both challenging and rewarding. The framework’s component-based architecture, state management, and lifecycle methods have opened up a world of possibilities. My journey in building a weather application was filled with excitement and problem-solving. I had good expectations going into the workshop, and they were not only met but exceeded. I learned so much and felt genuinely invested in what I was doing the entire time. Matt is an excellent teacher, and everything just mentally "clicked" so quickly.

An amazing learning experience!
This workshop was a nice add to the previous ones by offering the basic skills of making any website responsive using Bootstrap. The final project was a good exercise to learn multiple page hosting, SEO and to practice website design.
Learning a new programming language is always a challenge, but this workshop made it easy for me to learn the basics of Python :) However, since I took all the other workshops from SheCodes and work as a frontend developer, I felt like stretching all the learning material into 6 weeks was a bit too long. This format feels more adapted for beginners in coding

The React workshop was very challenging compared to the rest. It was a good experience to learn about React and what it does.
To be honest, React is not the easiest thing to learn. At times it feels a bit overengineered and unnecessarily complicated. But Matt splits it up in easily manageable tasks. So in the end I had a lot of fun learning and I am quite proud that I managed to build a weather application using React.

SheCodes was initially challenging since I had no coding background, but the detailed lessons and reinforcing challenges made all the difference. I loved being able to rewatch videos whenever I needed and use Slack to ask questions and get help with my codes. This made learning fun and effective!

Learned so much
Matt's teaching style is so amazing. I've learned so much in 3 weeks than I did in a whole college semester. Each project is fun, informative, and you learn as you build. I'm so glad I took the leap of faith and went with SheCodes. I get to stay at home with my little one, study at my own pace, and build my portfolio.
SheCodes plus was definitely a bit of a challenge, especially towards the end. I've learned a lot working through this course. I've mostly learned that coding/web developing can be very frustrating at times yet it feels so rewarding when you finally figure something out on your own after half a day of trial and error, googling, chatting with Athena AI, and then finally a light at the end of the tunnel. You are often times looking for a needle in a haystack. However I really do enjoy it and my problem solving skills I'm sure are going to continuously be tested as I continue on through out the bootcamp.
When I started this, I was very nervous that I was going to have trouble catching on. At 45 years old, my brain's not what it used to be. But Matt does a beautiful job teaching the material in a simple, concise, and easy to learn manner. His reassurance as he's teaching goes a long way, too. The support team and support resources/tools have been extremely helpful, too. Very well put together! I've already recommended this to several friends. Job well done, Matt & SheCodes team!

As someone passionate about coding, I've tried numerous platforms, but none have compared to the comprehensive learning experience offered here. From beginner tutorials to advanced projects, Shecodes caters to every skill level.

Being over 30 with no experience in tech, I thought that learning a language code from scratch would have been too hard but I was wrong! SheCodes courses are easy to follow, well structured and flexible. I love that we have access to a whole community of coders, they helped me many times when I was stuck.
