SheCodes Basic has easy to follow videos, with challenges after each of them. I had fun working on final project, so much so, that I had difficulty of stopping at 2.00 am, after finding the solution for the issue that was bugging me. :)

I've loved coding since junior high, but a lack of classes teaching it left me without a way to learn, to the extent of me almost completely forgetting that I had that passion at all. I've been looking for new things to try, new learning opportunities that I could potentially turn into a career. SheCodes is definitely that avenue. I've rediscovered that passion I had when I was a kid, and I'm getting to develop it in a way that I hadn't thought of before. I can't wait to continue on this journey!

When I was a little girl, back in 2010, I would spend all my time creating blogs and using CSS and HTML to make my own designs, and give them away to others. I would learn from the very little information I found online and from looking through others' codes. I hadn't done any coding since then, and so I started to think if it could be a more serious thing now. I've been thinking about taking one of SheCodes workshops for AGES! I'm glad I did it, it definitely rekindled my passion. The basics workshop is amazing for someone who is trying to figure out if they want to go further with coding. The classes are very clear and the step-by-step process makes it feel so smooth and fun. The amazing community of women trying to help each other, not about competition but about growing together, is a great plus. Thank you so much, I'm pretty sure this is going to change the course of my life.

I had the best time learning to code in the SheCodes Basics class. The lessons were organized well and easy to follow. I have gained a lot of knowledge in just 3 weeks and can't wait to continue learning more. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn to code.
To learn to code was an amazing decision, to do it at SheCodes made the decision perfect. I love the way Matt presents the stuff. You get a lot of very well explained new information with each class but you don't get it completely chewed. Some things are easy to reproduce others not ,and you must go through trial and error until you get the right answer. This is for me the best way to learn something. I just finished the Basics level and cannot wait to continue this journey. As Matt promised, coding is really fun.
Fantastic programme, well worth the price. Easy to understand even with no coding background at all. Great to add to your CV too! I have a degree in physics, but not much experience with coding so this was great. Would recommend it to anyone.
SheCodes Plus is a great way to further your coding journey! It will be difficult at times, and occasionally you will feel like things are going over your head, but I promise it is worth it. I learnt so much through this course and can 100% say Matt has ignited a passion for coding.
If you, like myself, is looking forward to change careers, SheCodes can be a start course. The classes are well explained in a way that makes any person understand what's going on in a code.
Really clear and easy and fun
I really enjoyed the three weeks course and found it a great introduction to the world of coding, which seemed so alien to me before starting. I really like the format of the course, with instruction videos and challenges so that you get to practice the new skill you just learnt. I also appreciated how I could go at my own pace but still had the incentive of a deadline for the homework each week. Having the slack community was also great. Knowing that you are learning together with others can be very motivating.
This was an intense 3 week journey, I had in mind many times to give up, I was saying that this is not for me, I can't learn it, but I am so glad I have not gave up. I loved the support you get, in case you get stuck, so many options to sort your issue. I was not alone, I was getting instant help from staff members, even from the community members who joined SheCodes. I think what kept me going is the time line to submit your homework, if was not in place I am sure I was not to follow up and give up easily. Very organised step by step course, clear messages and instructions, the best coding course. I hope more people discover this and give a try, it's not as hard as you think and if so, you are not alone, a lot of people are going through same thing as you and many more are there to help you. Thank you Matt and the team, thank you the SheCodes community. I finally did it 😊🎉

The plus workshop was great. learning more about JS and how to integrate API calls is really helping me understand more about how things work that the team I am a business analyst on have been coding up for awhile now.
I enjoyed SheCodes it presented the lessons in a way that was easy to understand, and I liked the challenges that we had to complete after finishing the video lessons. Since finishing the workshop I feel confident with the basics I have learned.

This was the perfect way to - affordably - dip my toe into the world of coding! I would highly recommend for folks who are curious about coding, but maybe aren't ready or able to throw $15k-$25k at an immersive bootcamp. The pacing is self-led to an extent, with guidepost deadlines to keep you on track. I had no trouble keeping up, despite my full-time job and busy home life. Thanks, SheCodes!
I was skeptical with how quickly or proficiently I could learn HTML, CSS, and JS in just 3 short weeks....I am pleasantly happy to share that it is possible! I take each lesson day by day and personally decide where I need to spend more time learning. I love this flexibility. If you need more time, they are accommodating but still have high expectations for completion. The final project was so much fun and I enjoyed my time creating my own site about cavapoos! I highly recommend. I will be moving on to the next part of the course and I am excited to continue this journey.

I am so glad that I have joined SheCodes! In just 3 weeks I went from knowing NOTHING to building a simple website 🤩. I absolutely had no clue what I was doing the first day. I was always intrigued by coding, just never thought I would give it a go. Now here I am trying to absorb as much as possible excited to continue learning. Everyone at SheCodes makes you feel welcomed. It’s wonderful to have accessibility to help, examples, and different tools to make sure you succeed. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get started.

An excellent course for total beginners! I had no previous coding experience and was concerned coding would be difficult. However, Matt breaks down the information into small steps and the challenges allow you to practice what you have just learned. I was able to immediately begin creating my own code! It was fun, interesting, and easy to understand. I really enjoyed creating my final project and I'm excited to begin SheCodes Plus!
I started the SheCodes Basic out of curiosity - I still don't know if I want to change my career but I definitely liked the workshop! The tasks were challenging yet not intimidating. The short lessons gave the opportunity to learn everything step by step. And finally I found out where the emojis are on windows 😅 I will definitely do the next course within a few months 😊

The workshop was pretty easy to follow overall, which is great for beginners or those with no coding experience such as myself. I feel the activities at the end of each lesson definitely helped with my understanding of the topic at hand. It was also quite flexible - especially with the option of extensions made available - as my schedule was unexpectedly busy during the workshop duration. All in all, I would definitely recommend this workshop as a great starting point to one's coding journey :)
Before knowing anything about the coding world, I always thought that's a complicated and boring field to me, but since I've learned about it and I've had the opportunity to be a part of Shecodes learners, every day feels like an adventure! I've got to learn many interesting things without being scared of making mistakes as there was always a team there for helping me get better. I enjoyed my experience very much and, of course, I'm willing to learn more.
SheCodes Basics was broken into manageable bite-sized pieces, and the instruction was accessible and nonintimidating. I enjoyed working through the challenges and having my homework checked each week. It was definitely a good course to get my feet wet - Who knows, I might take the plunge into SheCodes Plus or Pro!

After having successfully tackled SheCodes Basic, I kept the momentum going and tackled SheCodes Plus. It was challenging at times, but then are you even learning? I feel a bit more confident in my skills and knowledge-base. Things that had always sounded so big and scary to me when my partner spoke about them like Bootstrap and GitHub aren't actually that scary at all. They're made to help you and make you more efficient. Matt has done such a great job in SheCodes Plus taking his time explaining the really tricky and complicated sections. I still feel a bit noob but I'm not as noob as before.
I LOVE SheCodes. I did the free workshop on a whim because coding has always intrigued me, but I thought it was really maths-heavy. The one hour session opened my eyes - and I've learned that coding is so much more than numbers! I continued on to SheCodes Basic and I've learned so much in just a few weeks. It has been a really fun challenge and I highly recommend to anyone who is curious about coding. 👩💻

When I started my personal blog, a few years ago, that's when I had my first contact with HTML. I found it absolutely amazing to be able to manipulate the elements as I wished. Even though I learned (proactively) very little at the time, it proved to be useful in my day-to-day work. So, I've always felt the desire to learn more coding. This workshop exceeded all my expectations! Matt is absolutely amazing and has a gift for captivating and reassuring anyone who is most fearful. This was definitely a step up from SheCodes Basic. It was really interesting to learn about APIs and how we can feed through real time data for the weather app. Learning more about Javascript was also a rewarding challenge.
Personally, I had learned a lot, in these 3 weeks :) about the basics of coding that is not difficult actually its quite easy with our own sense of passion. I do love to design and express my creative side. I can proudly say, I like* to code! Looking forward to the next project. Thank you!

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire SheCodes Basics workshop. I had some prior experience with coding before the workshop, but the way this was taught here was fantastic! I learned new things and the lessons rejuvenated my love for coding. JavaScript was actually fun in this workshop and I didn't think that was possible. I highly recommend this workshop to women who want to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript but don't know where to start. I can't wait to start the next SheCodes workshop!

I found out about SheCodes accidently, when scrolling through Facebook. I had graduated from college two years ago and wanted to broaden my skill set so I would have more opportunities. I didn't have any experience with coding whatsoever but I decided to give it a try and sign up for a free coding class and then SheCodes Basics. I just completed the workshop today and I'm about to continue my journey with coding but I can already say that it was a good decision! During those 3 weeks, I learned a tremendous amount of information and I'm excited to see what's next! Also, I'm happy that I had a chance to explore the 'mysterious' world of coding!

SheCodes Responsive was a great way to learn how to make a website work for both Desktop and Phones
I have always wanted to learn to code but didnt know where to start, I had previously watched youtube videos and read online resources but found that none of them started right at the beginning. I really enjoyed these courses and the satisfaction of learning something new and being able to see my skills develop through the projects
