I really enjoyed this course. My console logging and debugging skills needed improvement, and there were times when I was completely stuck and too stubborn to ask for help. I wanted to "work it out" on my own instead of just following the instructions. As a result, I spent more time on this module than required. However, this process taught me a great deal and boosted my confidence in problem-solving. While this module was more difficult than the others, and perhaps also a bit too spoon-fed for my personal preference, I recognise that this approach was necessary for a home course. It presented some excellent concepts that I look forward to building on as I gain more confidence in JavaScript.
I enrolled in SheCodes Basic to get started on my coding path, and it far exceeded my expectations in every manner. The course approach breaks down difficult ideas into manageable bits, making it well-paced. Every module builds on the one before it, guaranteeing a great understanding of the principles of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The hands-on approach is what really makes SheCodes unique; the mini-projects and practical exercises not only reinforced what I learned but also gave me the self-assurance to begin coding on my own. This has been an incredible experience for me. At first I was worried, because I have absolute zero idea about math and I thought numbers were necessary to code, but SheCodes taught me that no, I don't need to be a math genius to be a coder. Learned a lot during this course. All the lessons were very informative and I love that it was so easy to seek and receive help. Went through a lot of personal things that resulted in me not being able to always submit my homework on time, and I love that I had extension options without even having to wait long for approvals. I made full use of all the tools, especially Athena AI, and they seamlessly complemented each other, enhancing my learning experience. I have really enjoyed this course. I was a little scared starting this, becuase I had zero knowledge in coding, but to think that, in less than 3 weeks, I can create my own landing page makes me excited and I cannot wait for what I am yet to learn.
I have loved every second of learning to code with SheCodes, the classes are short and simple. Although one still needs to put in the time and effort to actually grasp the skill of coding . I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to develop a skill and to harness it.
I found the Workshop Plus Add-On to be very interesting, especially the ability to manipulate time and date using JavaScript. I am confident that this skill will be very useful for me in the future.

Nowadays, React is one of the most useful and efficient libraries for building user interfaces. Unfortunately, the course was recorded a few years ago and hasn't been updated since, making it difficult to follow the steps and submit homework without asking questions on Slack about how to fix various problems.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn how to code. This journey is exciting and so far, I am having fun creating different personal projects with the skills that I have already learned. I believe that this will open door for me in a whole new field of study.
Creating an AI generator was very informative, challenging, engaging and fun! I'm happy I was able to share and utilize my coding skills I have learnt so far to create this project. The various techniques used in the project was AI, API, HTML, CSS, JS and more.

This workshop was excellent and really helped me learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. As a beginner, I wasn't familiar with these programming languages, but the introductory lessons made the main concepts easy to grasp. A major positive is that the instructor made the learning process engaging and interesting, so it never felt boring.
Before attending the She Codes Workshop on Basics, I had some experience in programming with Python and C++, but I had never coded anything in HTML, JavaScript, or CSS. I was impressed with the practical and accessible approach of the course. Despite my inexperience with these specific languages, I didn’t find the learning process difficult. The continuous tasks throughout the workshop were crucial for assimilating the concepts. Each exercise was carefully designed to reinforce what was taught, making the learning process easier and more efficient. The instructors were incredibly patient and knowledgeable, always ready to help and clarify doubts.

The past three weeks have been amazing and I learnt so much in such a short period of time. As a Computer Science student, I've never been one to fancy the idea of sitting behind a laptop, working on code that isn't working, only to find out that I missed a semicolon. Imagine the frustration! I told myself that I would avoid coding and pursue non-technical jobs after graduation. However, as I researched potential career paths, I realized that nearly all the jobs that interested me required some coding experience. It dawned on me that I couldn't escape coding in the Computer Science field, so I started searching for boot camps to learn how to code. That's when I discovered the SheCodes Foundation website and decided to apply. Thankfully, I was accepted and began my coding journey. Initially, I only intended to learn coding because I couldn't seem to avoid it, but I ended up falling in love with it. I am deeply grateful to the SheCodes Foundation and thankful to Matt Delac, the founder, for helping me to realize that coding is not bad after all.
